I chose the football pics to go with the circles in the sketch and added other circle embellishments. (I think this is the first time I’ve added stitching to a layout too!)

Using: Kaisercraft card stock, stamps, clear dots and pearls; Stampin’ Up paper; Inque Boutique stamp; Stamp It embossing powder; Thickers alphas; Crate Paper stickers; Micador water soluble pencils; papers, ribbons and cotton from my stash. IMG_4320-0

This is a birthday card for my bestie using some scraps of the papers I used for my latest layout.  I hope that the bright  colours give the card a happy feel.

Using: We R Memory Keepers White Out Collection papers; Bazill card stock; Cuttlebug embossing folders; Cricut Basic Shapes cartridge; Stampin’ Up ink pads.

Friends

This is a layout featuring a photo of Lachlan and two of his closest friends.  I tried to make the layout of the background rectangles reflect the peacock’s tail feathers and the hexagons reflect the paving stones.   I love the bright coordinating colours of this set of papers.

Using: We R Memory Keepers White Out Collection; Bazill card stock; Cuttlebug embossing folders and Stampin’ Up ink pads.

For You card

For You card

For this card I experimented with the Versamark relief technique. I stamped the butterflies on glossy card stock with Versamark clear ink, then used a brayer to apply Stampin’ Up Brocade Blue and Chocolate Chip inks over the top. Then I embossed the sentiment at the top of the card. I like the result and am looking forward to experimenting some more!

Using: Stampin’ Up card stock, stamp, ink, ribbon and brads, Kaisercraft Cocco papers and Stamp It Liquid Platinum embossing powder
