HB

A birthday card for a 9 year old boy. I was going for a mix of tough and fun. I love the diamond plate effect of the embossing on the mirror card and the crackle paint on the alphas. The lime in the background softens the design a little bit.

Using: Cherry Arte Boy Story and Tropics papers; Stampin’ Up card stock; mirror card from stash; Lil Davis Design alphas; Kaisercraft paints; Cuttlebug embossing folder IMG_3784.JPG

This is a birthday card for my bestie using some scraps of the papers I used for my latest layout.  I hope that the bright  colours give the card a happy feel.

Using: We R Memory Keepers White Out Collection papers; Bazill card stock; Cuttlebug embossing folders; Cricut Basic Shapes cartridge; Stampin’ Up ink pads.

Friends

This is a layout featuring a photo of Lachlan and two of his closest friends.  I tried to make the layout of the background rectangles reflect the peacock’s tail feathers and the hexagons reflect the paving stones.   I love the bright coordinating colours of this set of papers.

Using: We R Memory Keepers White Out Collection; Bazill card stock; Cuttlebug embossing folders and Stampin’ Up ink pads.

Duff

A photo of my very first Christmas Pudding, using my Granny’s recipe.
For the Anna’s Craft Cupboard Jan 14 Sketch Challenge.
Using: Kaisercraft Turtle Dove papers and brads; Stampin’ Up card stock and brad; Portacraft bling; Glitter Letter alphas; Cuttlebug embossing folders; We R Memory Keepers Family Keepsake sentiment.
