Love

Love

This layout features a selfie taken by my Aunty and her new husband on their recent wedding day in Las Vegas. I love that they look so happy!

I think the reds and browns and little flashes of green in this paper collection match well with the photo.

For the Anna’s Craft Cupboard July 2014 Sketch Challenge.

Using: Crate Paper Portrait Collection papers; Kaisercraft cardstock, Christmas papers, Love rubons; Flourish with a Bling bling; Fiskars punch; some heart brads, ribbon and other papers from my stash.

I have been reading and drawing inspiration from the beautiful book Art of Layers by Ronda Palazzari. In this layout I have played around with a few of her ideas for crafting flowers. I have used book paper and sewing pattern paper as well as patterned paper to create a cute posy.

Believe it or not mum and I didn’t mean to wear the same colour shirt that day, but I’m glad we did because it made colour matching a breeze! The pic (taken by my granny) is slightly fuzzy, but still a good one of the four of us.

Using: Blue Cardigan Designs Anthologie papers; Kaisercraft Timeless papers and bling; American Crafts Shadow alphas and pearl brads; Stampin’ Up card stock and brads; Fiskars punch; Marvy Uchida punches; book paper; sewing pattern paper; fabric.
